Financial Accountant

General Requirement

A driven, proactive Financial Accountant with recent completed audit articles from an international audit firm is required with a strong understanding of the audit methodology, finance analytical mind and a hunger for growth. The Financial Accountant will play a crucial role in completing all outstanding external audit deliverables in the African region.

Qualifications & Experience

• A minimum BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting with honours.
• 0-2 years post articles in an audit firm
• Exposure to compiling and reviewing Annual Financial Statements including consolidation.
• I am willing to learn and develop financial, accounting, and reporting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss any issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
• Capability to produce deliverables on time, with attention to detail.
• A well-organized team player with the ability to adapt to the changing requirements of the role and perform various tasks, act individually, and think creatively.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications (notably Excel and PowerPoint)
• Strong problem-solving capabilities / skills
• Proactive attitude
