Role Summary

We’re assisting a remote‑first multinational tech consultancy looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead complex and challenging data projects at a variety of enterprise clients. This is a key strategic role where you will translate complex business needs into robust, scalable data architectures.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Designing and documenting end‑to‑end cloud data architectures, from ingestion to analytics.
  • Creating scalable data platform blueprints using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, including Delta Lake and Spark.
  • Designing and implementing enterprise‑scale data models and solutions within Power BI to support business analytics.
  • Defining and enforcing standards for data modelling, data quality, and data governance.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Providing technical leadership and high‑level design assistance to data engineers and development teams.

What You Will Need To Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in data architecture, data modelling, or a senior data engineering role with architectural responsibilities.
  • Deep expertise in designing and building solutions on the Databricks platform.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing large‑scale Power BI solutions, including complex data models and DAX.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • A problem‑solving mindset with a focus on building secure, scalable, and efficient solutions.
