A leading financial institution is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Analyst to join a multi‑year IT transformation programme aimed at renewing and modernising its financial surveillance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and optimise business processes and value chains relevant to the Financial Surveillance function.
- Identify, analyse, and improve business processes, operating models, and value streams.
- Interpret and apply industry process standards and frameworks (e.g., APQC, TOGAF).
- Conduct process analysis, design, and development to improve systems, data flow, and operational efficiency.
- Assess current‑state processes to identify problem areas, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses.
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities and recommend sustainable solutions.
- Identify automation opportunities and provide recommendations for application.
- Develop detailed business process flows and define technology enablement opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of Target Operating Models and related artefacts.
- Prepare process documentation, standard operating procedures, and repository content.
- Collaborate with architects, SMEs, process owners, and technical experts to deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Engineering, Informatics, or Business Information Systems OR Process Engineering Certification (e.g., CBPP or equivalent).7–10 years of relevant professional experience.At least 5 years of proven experience in process engineering.Proficiency in process modelling tools (preferably ADONIS or similar).Strong understanding of BPMN.Preferred / Advantageous
Business Architecture training or certification.Lean or Six Sigma methods and techniques.Experience in Banking or Financial Services.BPMN or CBPP certification advantageous.Additional Skills & Competencies
