Linux and Database Administrator

We're looking for a Linux and Database Administrator with around 3 years of experience, ideally aiming for a future in DevOps. The role involves managing Linux servers and MariaDB databases, working within a LAMP environment, and supporting system performance, security, and deployments. Responsibilities : Maintain and monitor Linux servers Manage MariaDB databases (install, configure, back up) Support LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MariaDB, PHP) Troubleshoot system and network issues Implement basic security measures Collaborate with dev teams Document key procedures Requirements ~3 years Linux admin experience Solid MariaDB skills LAMP stack knowledge OSI model and networking fundamentals Shell scripting Strong troubleshooting ability Team player with good communication Nice to Have WordPress experience Kubernetes familiarity Docker or virtualization knowledge Certifications (Linux, RHCSA, etc.) Apply for this role today, contact Sune Pienaar at Hire Resolve or on LinkedIn.
