About the Role

Lead the commercial strategy and execution for the Fortinet portfolio across South Africa and the SADC region. Own revenue growth, partner ecosystem performance, and pipeline health; orchestrate high‑touch, low‑touch, and no‑touch go‑to‑market motions with direct reports Fortinet PM, channel manager, pre and post sales and other cross‑functional teams such as marketing, operations and finance. Act as the senior interface to Fortinet while scaling profitable channel business through resellers, MSSPs and SIs. This role will report to the Country Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor & Portfolio Leadership : Own the Fortinet business plan, targets and governance with Fortinet; ensure program compliance and MDF ROI.
  • Channel & Partner Ecosystem : Segment and grow partners across high / low / no‑touch motions; recruit, onboard and enable partners; ensure compliance.
  • Sales Management & Forecasting : Drive bookings, forecasting accuracy and pipeline coverage; manage QBRs and risk mitigation.
  • GTM Motions : Architect and execute high‑touch (strategic accounts), low‑touch (inside‑led scale) and no‑touch (digital commerce) plays.
  • Enablement & Marketing : Increase partner certifications, run enablement calendars and deploy MDF with measurable ROI.
  • Operations & Compliance : Ensure deal registration, pricing and cross‑border compliance with zero audit findings.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business / IT; Fortinet or industry certifications advantageous.
  • Experience : 8‑12+ years in cybersecurity distribution or vendor channel leadership; Fortinet or similar portfolio experience; proven success in SA & SADC.
  • Strategic Thinker : Ability to develop long‑term growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Operational Excellence : Ensures efficient sales processes and accountability across the team.
  • Customer‑Centric : Understands client needs and delivers tailored solutions.
  • Market Awareness : Keeps abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and competitor activity.
