Work Hours (Client) : 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM EST | Extended hours during tax season

Pay Range : $1500 - $2000 USD / month (varies based on skill set and experience level)

Location of Search : South Africa

Work Location : Remote

Company / Client Overview :

We're currently seeking a Remote Tax Preparer to join our team and help us scale operations, with a strong preference for someone who is fluent in Chinese to better serve our expanding Chinese-speaking client base.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Prepare and file personal and business tax returns
Handle sales tax and payroll tax filings
Review client-provided financial information and ensure accuracy
Communicate with clients regarding tax-related documents and deadlines
Assist in maintaining up-to-date client records and documentation
Be available for extended hours during tax season

Minimum Requirements :

Language requirement : Proficiency in both English and Mandarin / Chinese is required and non-negotiable

Experience : 1-3+ years of experience in US tax preparation (U.S. personal and business taxes) is required

Proficient in handling sales tax and payroll tax

Fluent in Chinese-Mandarin - verbal and written.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Highly detail-oriented, trustworthy, and organized

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

Willing and able to learn internal tools and adhere to our security protocols
