Job title: Electrical Engineer

Salary: R50-55k/month

Location: North-Cape, located on a mining site

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and approve electrical systems (LV, MV, HV).
• Lead electrical engineering activities on major projects.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with international and local electrical standards.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Manage contractors and technical teams.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical failures.
• Implement safety and quality standards on site.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering - beneficial
• 10–15 years’ proven industry experience
• Experience working on large projects in Africa
• Ability to lead teams and manage contractors
• Willingness to travel or work on project sites
