Field Services & Maintenance Manager – Sandvik Surface Drill Rigs

Our client is seeking an experienced Field Services & Maintenance Manager with strong technical expertise and proven experience working on Sandvik Surface Drill Rigs.

Location

Open to both local and expatriate candidates (including South Africa)

Responsibilities

Manage, plan, and oversee field service and maintenance operations for Sandvik Surface Drill Rigs.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.

Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability.

Provide technical guidance, training, and support to field service teams.

Oversee the servicing, maintenance, and performance optimization of Sandvik Surface Drill Rigs.

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Liaise with OEMs, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely availability of parts and service support.

Prepare reports on equipment performance, service activities, and maintenance schedules.

Key Skills

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Leadership experience in managing field service / maintenance teams.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications and Experience

Mechanical / Electrical Engineering qualification (or equivalent technical certification).

Strong technical background with proven experience working on Sandvik Surface Drill Rigs is essential.
