Excellent opportunity for an adept Finance Assistant at a fast-growing medical import and distribution business for a candidate that has strong Excel skills and an eye for detail. Their offices are situated in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
The ideal candidate should preferably have 3 years of finance administration and / or bookkeeping experience and a degree or certificate in finance or bookkeeping will be an advantage (but not required). Candidates qualified by experience and in a similar role will also be considered. Proficiency in Excel and working with numbers is required, and the candidate must be detail-oriented. Previous imports, creditors, stock experience will be beneficial.
The role will predominantly entail finance administration and bookkeeping with additional administrative duties.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Finance
- Reconciling Creditors where necessary and following-up on Supplier queries and differences.
- Filing of Proof of payments to the Remittance advices.
- Updating of credit card slips spreadsheet and getting sign-off.
- Scanning of receipts and slips.
