About the Role We are seeking a Client Accountant to join our vibrant team and contribute to delivering outstanding financial services to our clients. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Account Manager, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and providing actionable insights to guide key business decisions. Key Responsibilities Prepare comprehensive month-end accounting reports, including cash flow statements and budgets.Manage and oversee accurate bookkeeping tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant standardspile and review balance sheets, income statements, and supporting schedules.File statutory accounts in the UK and manage VAT returns.Provide exceptional client service, responding proactively to inquiries and needs.Use accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to maintain and review the General Ledger.Generate monthly or quarterly financial statements for clients.Leverage data analysis tools like Syft or Power BI to produce insights that support strategic decisions.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.Strong knowledge of UK statutory accounting and VAT return processes.Solid understanding of accounting principles and General Ledger management.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Desired Attributes Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Consistently produces high-quality work.Adept at managing tasks independently and meeting deadlines.Work Requirements A reliable home office setup, including a stable internet connection.Availability to work UK hours (GMT), Monday to Friday.
