Job DescriptionFinancial Accountant – Luxury Hospitality Group (Bryanston)Salary : R30, – R33, (Negotiable Depending on Experience)Live-Out | Cost to Company (CTC) Package including Mandatory Provident Fund ContributionKendrick Recruitment is now seeking a meticulous and self-driven Financial Accountant for a leading luxury hospitality group based in Bryanston.Key Responsibilities : Assist in developing and maintaining financial controls across all business units.Work closely with Finance Managers, Operations Managers, and GMs in budget compilation and planning.Review and interpret monthly financial accounts for each property, reporting any anomalies.Lead the year-end audit process for the group's properties.Prepare and present monthly financial packs and weekly reports to the Finance Managerpile and analyse variance reports on all budget overspends.Highlight variances, discrepancies, and policy changes in monthly financial reporting.Ensure compliance with financial manuals and checklists.Draft and propose new policies and procedures for CEO approval.Oversee performance expectations of admin staff in financial roles.Lead training, development, and job satisfaction of accounting staff.Handle all personnel file maintenance, leave schedules, contracts, and payroll.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.Conduct audits on all personnel documentation.Requirements : Minimum of 2–4 years' experience in a financial accountant or management role within the hospitality industry.Experience supervising a finance team and operating with minimal supervision.Strong leadership qualities and commercial acumen.Matric certificate required; a financial qualification is advantageous.Valid South African ID.System Proficiency : Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills essential), ACCPAC, VIP Payroll, Hospitality PMS systems; NEBULA experience is a plus.Level : Junior ManagementThis is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Financial Accountant to grow within a premium hospitality environment.If you meet the criteria and are looking for a new challenge in Bryanston, apply now by submitting your CV to Kendrick Recruitment.
