This position is based in Ireland.
We are looking for a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join our team in Ireland. This is a full-time position. As a Fabricator / Welder, you'll be responsible for fabricating components from steel, aluminum, and other materials, using MIG and TIG welding to meet high standards.
Your work will involve building and modifying road-marking vehicles and equipment, as well as maintaining machinery to minimize operational downtime. You will work closely with our engineering and road marking teams, applying your expertise in a hands-on manufacturing environment that prioritizes precision and safety.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have proven experience as a fabricator and welder, along with relevant certifications.
- Valid Safe Pass certification is required.
- Proven experience as a fabricator and welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Current welding certifications in both MIG and TIG.
- Experience with vehicle bodywork, truck builds, and hydraulic systems.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with fabrication tools and machinery, including cutting tools, grinders, and forklifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition for manual handling.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime and weekends.
- A Class C driver's license is preferred.
Benefits
Salary : The starting salary is €34,000 per year, or €16.77 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week. Your salary may be higher based on experience and will increase proportionately for any additional hours worked.
