Senior IT Manager

TreasuryONE provides treasury technology and financial management solutions to organisations across South Africa. The systems that support this work need to be reliable secure and well-maintained.

We are looking for a Senior IT Manager to lead a capable team and ensure systems remain stable and fit for purpose as the business continues to grow. The role requires a balance of technical depth sound judgement and a calm steady approach to leadership.

Purpose of the role

Reporting to the CIO overseeing the companys technology operations guide the IT team and ensuring the availability and security of core systems. While also supporting ongoing improvements in line with business needs.

Key responsibilities

Lead support and develop the IT team encouraging responsibility and consistent delivery

Maintain stable secure infrastructure across servers networks and endpoint devices

Manage and optimise Microsoft 365 platforms including identity and access controls

Oversee monitoring patching updates and preventative maintenance

Act as the escalation point for complex or sensitive technical matters

Work with management to translate business priorities into practical IT improvements

Support integration work relating to treasury systems and external service providers

Experience and skills

710 years experience in IT operations or infrastructure including at least three years in a leadership role

Strong working knowledge of networking virtualisation cloud environments and cybersecurity practices

Advanced experience with Microsoft 365 administration and systems integration

Able to communicate clearly set expectations and provide guidance where needed

Experience in a financial or system-driven environment is an advantage though not essential
