Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development and implementation of the companys risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk mitigation strategies, ensuring the organizations objectives and risk tolerance align.
  • Work closely with senior management to provide strategic risk insights and support decision-making.
  • Ensure all risk management processes are integrated into business operations and align with the companys growth ambitions.

Qualifications & Experience Required :

  • MUST have a minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, with a significant focus on credit risk .
  • Proven expertise in risk analysis, strategic risk management, and the ability to oversee complex risk landscapes.
  • Relevant academic qualifications in risk management, finance, economics, or a related field (e.g., CFA, FRM , or equivalent).
  • A strong understanding of financial products, credit evaluation, and the broader market risks.
  • Experience in a senior risk management role, ideally within a global or rapidly growing business.
  • A Namibian citizen or permanent resident, fluent in English.
