Document Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee, implement, and manage the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) , ensuring accurate document control, versioning, and traceability.
• Manage documentation across multiple engineering disciplines, ensuring alignment with project execution plans and compliance with ISO 9001 and other quality standards.
• Compile, structure, and hand over final documentation packages (EOJ / As-Built) to clients, coordinating sign-off processes across engineering and vendor documentation.
• Lead document control activities for EPCM projects in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, and industrial sectors.
• Supervise and guide project and site-based document controllers, ensuring the latest revisions of drawings and documentation are issued and controlled.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, vendors, and contractors to resolve technical queries and expedite outstanding documentation.
• Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to ensure document integrity and regulatory alignment.
• Produce accurate document registers, transmittals, reports, and progress tracking for senior management and clients.
• Provide training, mentoring, and support to project personnel on document control procedures and systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of document control processes to enhance efficiency and reduce rework.
