Position : Accountant

Work Hours (Client) : 9 to 5 EST (at least a 4 hours overlap with CST)

Pay Range : $1500 - $2500 USD / month (varies based on skill set and experience level)

Location of Search : Preference for South Africa; open to Latin America or the Philippines with strong English proficiency

Duties and Responsibilities :

We are seeking a skilled detail-oriented accountant to join a growing business. This is a hands-on client-focused role where youll not only manage day-to-day accounting tasks but also take ownership of month-end close processes help streamline operations and support multiple clients over time. You will play a key role in improving efficiency standardizing processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow with a founder take initiative and contribute to shaping accounting operations.

• Lead and manage month-end close processes including :

Preparing journal entries accruals and reconciliations.

Minimum Requirements :

Language requirement : Excellent English Communication Skills

Education : Bachelors Degree (ideally)

Experience : 5 years of related experience

Industry : preferably in a service-based or client-focused industry
