Overview
Purpose of the Role
As a Retention Sales Agent, you will be required to showcase and sell the products and / or services, using your communication skills, via various communications channels, such as telephone, email, chat or internet. You will be building relationships with our potential clients and have the ability to connect with people quickly. As a sales agent, you will be counted on to get to the source and close the deal — which brings in company revenues and cash flow.
Responsibilities
- Meeting or exceeding sales revenue goals
- Meeting and exceeding KPI’s set by the business
- Contacting potential clients to offer our products and / or services
- Follow processes, procedures and protocols set by the business
- Establishing relationships with new customers
- Anticipating the needs of clients and address them accordingly
- Determining customers specific needs and wants, making suggestions as appropriate
- Negotiating with prospective clients
- Understanding and promoting our products and services
- Obtaining payments from clients
- Answering customer queries regarding our products and / or services
- Maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers
- Striving to improve customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
- Identifying and responding to client needs
- Keeping a high level of knowledge about existing products and services, and learning about new products and services as they come in
- Following up with customers as necessary and in a timely manner
- Each client or potential client will be treated in a respectful manner
- Offering ancillary products, to the customer in full transparency while fully explaining the added value that the ancillary product offers
- High time management ability while understanding that talk time and productivity are top values
- Transfer the client to the relevant departments in the event of a problem or request from the client such as a cancellation request
- Collection of customers who owe a fee
