Agent Sales Coordinator

Luxury Travel Company | Cape Town

Salary : R18,500 per month

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an Agent Sales Coordinator to join a leading luxury travel company based in Cape Town . This position supports the agent sales process by handling administrative tasks and working closely with Sales Consultants to ensure smooth and efficient booking operations.

Position Overview :

The successful candidate will assist the Sales Consultants by managing the administrative aspects of agent bookings, ensuring accuracy, timely communication, and excellent service delivery throughout all stages of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities :

Support Sales Consultants with the administrative and operational tasks throughout the booking process

Confirm all services upon agent confirmation, following internal procedures

Check invoices to ensure they align with system costs and report discrepancies

Liaise with the Finance Team to ensure efficient deposit allocations

Reconfirm bookings ahead of travel, including dietary needs and room allocations

Update internal systems with booking times and references during the reconfirmation stage

Report errors or issues to the line manager immediately upon discovery

Handle ad-hoc requests from agents in a timely and professional manner

Provide support during peak periods or when team members are on leave

Participate in training and proactively enhance product and system knowledge

Suggest ways to improve systems and contribute to team performance

Support inter-departmental collaboration and represent the brand positively at all times

Candidate Requirements :

Qualifications and Experience :

Matric certificate required

Travel & Tourism qualification is advantageous

Previous experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales or administrative environment

Strong customer service orientation and experience working with clients and suppliers

Skills and Attributes :

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently or within a team

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

Strong problem-solving abilities and a can-do mindset

Working Conditions :

Based in Cape Town office, Monday to Friday (08h00 – 17h00, including a 1-hour lunch)

Flexibility required during peak seasons and for occasional overtime

May be required to work select South African public holidays, with time off in lieu
