In this role you will handle the administrative aspects of agent sales with the company and 3rd party suppliers at all stages of the booking process. You will work closely with the Agent Sales Consultants and will require excellent communication, multitasking and organisational skills.

- Experience and a good understanding of the safari tourism environment
- Experience in and knowledge of East Africa Safari sales advantageous (Kenya, Tanzania & Uganda)
- Experience working in a sales team environment
- Strong customer service skills (written & telephonic)
- Knowledge of sales & reservations systems
Candidate Responsibilities :
Work closely with the Sales Consultants to support operational and administrative aspects of the sales processConfirm all services on agent confirmation, according to internal proceduresAccurately capture booking references, travel information and updates timeously on the systemCross-check invoices and services for quality control, escalating an issues as they arise, and leasing with Finance to ensure deposits are correctly allocatedProduce and deliver error-free vouchers, itineraries, e-tickets and travel packs, ensuring agents receive all relevant documents 8-10 weeks before travel dates (or within 24-48 hours for last-minute bookings)Accurately maintain proper filing of documents in the shared systemsReconfirm bookings due to travel, including dietary requirements, rooming allocations, andother special needs
Respond promptly to agent queries and ad-hoc requestsProvide proactive support to colleagues during peak periods or leave coverAdhere to the company's operating manuals and processesParticipate in training opportunities and proactively expand knowledge of company products, third-party suppliers, and destination informationHave a proactive and adaptable approach to developing sales skills, systems knowledge, and product expertiseEncourage inter-department collaboration and contribute to a positive team cultureUndertake other duties or project work as requiredConditions and Working Hours :
