Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Financial Reporting Specialist to oversee fund accounting and financial reporting for our clients' funds globally. This role involves providing oversight to third-party administrators, reviewing statutory financial reports, and project managing the report, account, and audit process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight to third-party administrators to ensure accurate and timely fund accounting and financial reporting.
- Review statutory financial reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Project manage the report, account, and audit process to ensure seamless execution.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes in various regions to maintain knowledge of industry developments.
- Prepare and review fund Board Papers, including budgets and cost monitoring, to support informed decision-making.
- Review industry and regulatory reports across multiple jurisdictions to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage accounts payable and ensure correct calculation and allocation of fund-related costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Recent CA(SA) qualification and asset management auditing experience.Previous experience at a global auditing firm and background in the mutual funds industry or financial reporting is beneficial.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for building meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders.Benefits
