Purpose of Job

To operate basic mechanical / electro-mechanical equipment and machines and carry out routine tasks following strict detailed instructions to meet performance targets.

Applicant must be have a good understanding of maintenance on various types of pumps and blowers. Must be able to work in accordance with quality plans and work procedures. Be conversant with the technical parameters governing pump maintenance regarding mechanical seal installation bearing clearances gaskets rotors couplings alignment and protection devices. The applicant must be a good team player be able to work overtime and perform standby duties.

Key Accountabilities

• Removable maintenance and installation of rotating equipment
• Comply to safety standards / procedures
• Identify all unsafe conditions and bring under the attention of management
• Perform basic job execution planning w.r.t. tools consumables spares 3rd party requirements and safety.
• Conduct plant inspections
