QC Inspector - Pumps

Requirements :

Grade 12

Relevant Trade Test.

Completed QA course.

Fully understand the quality requirements related to the Clients pump manufacturing.

5 years plus experience in a mechanical and similar environment.

Key Performance Areas :

• Quality assurance and control inspections.
• Administration.
• Health and Safety inspections.
• Metrology function.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Help with the inspection of goods received into stores.
• Inspection of all tooling, jigs, fixtures, gauges and measuring equipment used in the workshop.
• Accept or reject tooling, jigs, fixtures, gauges and measuring equipment and initiate necessary paperwork.
• Inspection of work in progress and finished machined goods that are in all sections of the workshop.
• Accept or reject WP or finished goods and initiate the necessary paperwork.
• Perform any work or duty as required by the supervisor which the inspector is capable of doing and that is in the interest of the companys profitability.
• Health and safety inspections.
