Job Description

The Instrument Technician / Mechanician position is to install, perform preventative maintenance according to schedules, attend to breakdowns and to monitor the performance of all instrumentation and meters. You will also be responsible for the following :

• Maintenance on all pipeline instrumentation
• Monitoring and reporting on instrumentation status
• Analyse and report on billing, SCADA and UAG data
• Assist clusters with UAG related decision making
• Assist billing department with billing corrections and investigations
• Assist and train instrument apprentices
• Assist in issuing meter spares from meter store
• Perform meter sizing
• Metering station investigations
• Assist in maintaining and developing SCADA system
