Job description

Minimum requirements

BSc / B Eng. in Electrical Engineering at NQF 8 (480 credits)
Minimum Experience : Two years of technical experience in power generation, transmission, or distribution environments.
Professional Registration Body : Engineering Council of South Africa, as Candidate Engineer.

Transmission network understanding

Primary and secondary plant operation and control during normal and abnormal conditions

Eskom organisational structure and customer requirements

Power system fault calculations

Key Responsibilities

Conduct specialised investigations and analyses.

Help ensure the asset bases integrity.

Offer discipline-specific technical help.

Provide standardised outputs.

Provide design reviews.
