Key Focus Areas :
In-Bound Management :
Track inbound shipments from load ports to destination ports.Manage land-side clearances at destination ports.Out-Bound Management :
Align SAP documentation with sales offers, including invoice accuracy and prompt delivery.Provide customers with tracking and manage the flow of products from warehouse to customers.Track key performance metrics, such as port-to-warehouse days, warehouse days, and truck transit times.Oversee documentation, trucking vendors, and border crossings.Verify delivery dates against sales promises and manage warehouse clearances.Warehousing :
Ensure quality, health, and safety standards are adhere to and maintained.Maintain product integrity, aesthetics, and security.Oversee batch management processes.Strategic Supply Chain Reporting :
Prepare and analyze various supply chain reports to drive efficiency and performance improvements.Marketing and Strategy :
Conduct supply chain landscape analysis.Develop and implement competitive logistics strategies tailored to the South African market.Key Skills, Experience, and Qualifications :
Experience : 6–12 years in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, with a thorough understanding of the function.Industry Experience & Knowledge : Working experience in the distribution / trading sector will be advantageous.Soft Skills & Competencies :
