A fast-paced Engineering Service Provider in Durbanville is seeking a proactive and ambitious Industrial Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transitioning engineering designs and data into production, integral to the engineering release process. Responsibilities include managing industrial and process engineering functions, such as assessing sub-systems for production feasibility, creating detailed production line process models, and troubleshooting production issues. Duties

• Transition engineering designs and data into production, ensuring seamless integration and implementation.
• Participate in the engineering release process, ensuring all industrial and process engineering functions are addressed.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to review and approve sub-systems for each product line in terms of build feasibility.
• Develop detailed production line process models detailing how and where subassemblies are installed on the production floor.
• Investigate and resolve issues found on the production line, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Conduct time studies and production line optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management, to align engineering projects with business objectives.
• Maintain thorough documentation of process models, methodologies, and findings.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and efficiency.
