Our client in the insurance industry in Claremont, Cape Town, has a permanent role available for a RETAIL WORKSITE SALES CONSULTANT with solid sales background in long- OR short-term insurance.
As a key sales representative within the worksite channel, you’ll play an active role in introducing our product to employees at their place of work. You will be responsible for identifying prospects, delivering impactful sales engagements, and following through to policy activation and retention.
- RE5 certification is compulsory
What you'll be doing :
Your primary focus will be to drive sales of our Family Cover product via stop-order.
Your duties will include :
Engage face-to-face with employees at various worksitesPromote and sell the Client’s Family Cover to individualsGenerate your own leads and convert them into active clientsConduct on-site presentations and one-on-one consultationsProcess applications digitally using a tablet or laptop Meet and exceed weekly / monthly sales targetsMonitor policy activation (first premium paid) and persistenceExperience and qualifications :
Matric certificateRE5 (compulsory)Minimum 1-year insurance sales experienceProven track record in consistently meeting / exceeding sales targetsExperience with Persal and stop order facilities is idealSales and tech skills :
Comfortable using a tablet or laptop to process sales digitallyCommunication and writingConfidence in presentingStrong interpersonal and negotiation skillsGood fluency in EnglishWork style :
