Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee all functions within the parts department, ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction
- Maintain optimum stock levels to meet customer and workshop demand while minimizing excess inventory
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive parts sales and enhance profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, workshop teams, and retail clients
- Monitor parts order processes, returns, and warranty claims in line with OEM standards
- Ensure accurate inventory control, regular stock takes, and compliance with brand and dealer policies
- Train, supervise, and support parts staff to achieve departmental goals and exceptional service delivery
- Provide accurate monthly reporting on departmental performance to dealership management
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements :
Matric Certificate (Grade 12)Minimum 5 years experience as a Parts Manager in a franchised dealership, preferably within a premium or luxury vehicle brand environmentStrong understanding of passenger vehicle parts operations and inventory management systemsAutomotive OEM parts experience essentialValid drivers licenseMotor Industry experience Essential!!Skills / Attributes :
