Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously, ensuring compliance with IFRS, ISA, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop audit teams to ensure high-quality work, adherence to deadlines, and professional growth.
- Review audit files and financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before Partner sign‑off.
- Oversee audits of public interest entities (PIEs), statutory audits, and where applicable, listed entities.
- Provide technical guidance to audit teams on complex IFRS and auditing matters.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure excellent client service delivery.
- Manage audit planning, budgeting, and completion processes effectively.Identify areas for process improvement within the audit function and contribute to firmwide best practices.
- Assist with training, internal reviews, and quality control initiatives.
- Uphold the firm’s values and contribute positively to its team‑oriented culture.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualification
Registered Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) is required.Registration as a Registered Auditor (RA) with IRBA preferred.Experience
Minimum of 5 years post-articles experience in external audit.Proven experience managing audits of public interest or statutory entities ; listed entity exposure advantageous.Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and Companies Act requirements.Competencies
