The ideal candidate for this role will provide an effective, efficient, and value-adding support function to the Outsource & Debt Recovery department.
What you will love doing in this role
- Meet performance metrics and targets set by the department.
- Drive and support achievement of all Outsource & Debt Recovery goals : Day to day processes
Driving operational and quality efficiencies
Liaise with Practitioners (external debt collection Agencies) regarding handover files, pay-overs, and customer queries.Capture and maintain accurate data across all relevant systems.Process payment schedules are within required timeframes.Perform reconciliations and balance external debt collection accounts.Process direct payments and reconcile invoices accurately.Building strong stakeholder relationships
Maintain professional, clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.Represent the Group as a brand ambassador in all interactions.Continuously work to enhance service delivery and stakeholder experience.Reporting responsibilities
Monitor and report on Practitioner performance as per SLA requirements.Deliver accurate, timely reports aligned with departmental needs.What you’ll need to do this role
Qualifications & Accreditations
Grade 12 / Matric or EquivalentExperience & Skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience in EDC management.Knowledge of the Debt Collectors Act and the National Credit Act (NCA).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to resolve problems and constructively manage conflict.Clear credit and criminal record.Results-orientedWhat we will love about you
