Job descriptionGreet guests as they enter the dining room and escort them to their table Present menus and make recommendations to guests based on their preferences Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the system Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and professional manner Ensure all orders are accurate and of high quality Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and resetting tables Assist with preparing and clearing tables as needed Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and fellow crew members Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional service and a memorable dining experience for guests Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the company Perform other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager or other superiors Previous experience as a waiter / waitress in a high-volume restaurant or hotel is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment Knowledge of food and beverage service standards Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus Hospitality / Hotel / Restaurant jobs
