We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join a fast-growing UK-based SaaS company. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving new client acquisition, nurturing sales pipelines, and expanding market reach. You'll be working remotely with a supportive international team that values innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for South African professionals with a passion for tech and sales to grow their career with a forward-thinking UK organisation. Prior UK market experience is an advantage but not essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, qualify, and engage with new business opportunities across key verticals.
- Conduct outbound prospecting via email, calls, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close.
- Develop tailored proposals and deliver compelling product demos to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align lead generation strategies with business goals.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report on key metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.
Qualifications and Experience :
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a business development or B2B sales role, ideally within the SaaS or tech industry. - MUST have experience in BD or B2B sales role in SAAS Tech or AI spaceStrong communication and negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.Experience working with international clients; UK market experience is a plus.Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.Must have access to a reliable internet connection and a laptop or desktop computer .Seniority level : Mid-Senior level
