Human Resources Generalist to partner with the manufacturing operations, located in Pinetown. This opportunity is great for a human resources professional with a strong employee relations and training & development experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
About the Role
This is a dynamic role and the incumbent will be responsible for employee relations, talent acquisition and organizational development. This role reports directly to the HR Manager.
What You Will Do
Support and serve as point-of-contact on Human Resources topics for both employees and line managers.Responsible for Talent Acquisition across different levels within the organization.Provide sound advice, support and execute various activities on Employee and ensure compliance with legal requirements of various Acts within legislation.Provide guidance to both employees and line management on policies and procedures.Provide support and activities with various legislated authorization bodies.Participate and have an active role in Organizational Development initiatives, Training and Development and general Human Resources Administration.Secure and improve process delivery and contribution to overall high-quality Human Resources Information System within the organization.Provide professional HR support in all operational / administrative HR issues related to agreed activities.Participate in projects and contribute to a service culture to fulfill the service level agreement with various stakeholders.Requirements
Matric and Tertiary HR Qualification.Minimum of 3 years HR partnering experience in a unionized manufacturing environment, and experience in dealing with SETA's.Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong functional knowledge of HR Information Systems. Workday experience will be beneficial.Excellent communicator (written, verbal and listening) and able to engage in a professional manner at various levels within the business.Meticulous attention to detail, innovative with the ability to drive processes forward.Analytical, insightful, courageous and decisive.Works well within a team and collaborates across functional teams at all levels.High levels of integrity, care and honesty.Location : Pinetown, South Africa
