Our client, a highly successful and established operator in the aviation industry, is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team in Lanseria, Johannesburg.
The Financial Manager will play a critical role in aligning the finance function with group-level processes and accounting policies. This is a transformation-focused role that requires not only solid accounting expertise but also the ability to manage change effectively within a long-standing team.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.

Align accounting practices and policies to group standards.

Drive change management within the finance function to modernise processes and improve efficiency.

Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reports.

Present financial results and insights at board meetings.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax legislation, and company policies.

Maintain effective internal controls and support the broader business in financial decision-making.

Collaborate closely with group finance to ensure consistent reporting and governance.

Qualifications and Experience :

Relevant Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)

Completed articles with a non-CA qualification preferred

5–10 years of relevant commercial finance experience

Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to adapt processes and policies

Demonstrated ability to drive and manage organisational change
