Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics and Coding Teacher to develop and implement exciting and engaging lessons in robotics, coding, and STEM-related subjects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics engineering, computer programming, and educational pedagogy. They will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to explore and experiment with robotics, coding, and other technology-related concepts.Key Responsibilities :
Develop and deliver lessons in robotics, coding, and other STEM-related subjects to inspire and engage studentsCreate hands-on activities and projects that allow students to build and program robots and other interactive devicesProvide guidance and instruction to students on programming languages such as Python and ScratchFoster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills through project-based learningAssess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their coding and robotics skillsStay up-to-date on advancements in robotics and coding technologyCollaborate with colleagues to integrate robotics and coding into the school curriculumCommunicate regularly with parents and school administrators to provide updates on student progress and program initiativesParticipate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in robotics and coding educationQualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in robotics engineering, computer science, or a related fieldTeaching certification or experience in a classroom setting preferredProficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scratch, and ArduinoStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for teaching and inspiring students to explore robotics and codingAbility to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning styles of studentsExperience with robotics kits and programming tools such as LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, and Raspberry PiKnowledge of current trends and practices in robotics and coding educationAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators to promote STEM educationEducation / Teaching Jobs jobs
