Quantiy Surveyor (Plumbing Industry)

An established plumbing contractor in Cape Town is seeking to employ an experienced Quantity Surveyor with proven expertise in the plumbing sector of the construction industry. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability and growth in a specialised environment.

Minimum Requirements :

Diploma in Quantity Surveying

5+ years’ experience in the plumbing industry

Valid driver’s licence

Proven proficiency in quantity surveying software for estimating and progress claims / valuations

Solid understanding of the N / S JBCC contract agreement

Strong knowledge of plumbing reticulation design and installation methods

Key Responsibilities :

Compile monthly cost reports

Prepare monthly progress claims for allocated projects

Manage variation costings and obtain approvals

Estimate new projects, including BOQ and take-offs

Oversee job costs and reporting using Buildsmart

Conduct site measures and reporting for monthly valuations
