Financial Accountant (German Speaking)

Job descriptionAccounts receivable Assets Bank transactions Credit card transactions Travel expenses in DATEV (CDG and CTS) Handle invoicing, dining, and advance sales tax returns. Prepare and review payment runs. Maintain master data and account records. Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB, in collaboration with the external tax office and UK colleagues. Serve as a contact person for employees, customers, suppliers, auditors, and authorities. Support weekly cash flow updates. Participate in projects and provide information to other departments. Completed commercial training with relevant qualifications in financial accounting or a degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. Relevant professional experience in financial accounting or similar areas preferred. Good knowledge of HGB - would be nice (German Commercial Code). Proficient in common MS Office applications, especially Excel, and accounting software (Xero). German language skills : ideally both written and spoken.(required) Good business fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken High degree of loyalty, teamwork, and sense of responsibility. Independent, committed, and self-reliant work ethic. Excellent organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail. Competitive salary of up to R30 000 - R45,000 per month. Remote working opportunity in Cape Town. Operate in the German time zone with flexibility for daylight savings. Full support team based in Cape Town.
