The Digital Designer role sits within the in-house design studio for Mweb and Webafrica . The digital designer will assist the studio in rolling out marketing creative across all platforms, including (but not limited to) digital marketing , social media posts , paid advertising , emailers , flyers , and video . This includes creating assets for campaigns and month-to-month design work, ensuring work meets brand guidelines. The primary focus of the role is roll-out, ensuring that designs are delivered on time and meet platform specifications. While the role focuses on asset creation, there will also be a need for some conceptual design work

Core Deliverables and Responsibilities
Asset CreationDesign digital assets for a variety of campaigns as well as month-to-month creative - including Google and Meta ads, social media posts, flyers and video.Roll-out creative concepts across different formats such as display ads, social media banners, and email marketing.Ensuring deliverables have correct sizing, file formats, and specifications for each platform.Manage design versioning, making sure any last-minute changes or tweaks are implemented quickly and efficiently.Working in various design applications to get the best results, e.g. rolling out a campaign across Figma (for digital marketing), Illustrator (for print) and Adobe After Effects (for video).Working with stock imagery, templates and brand guides to deliver on brand designs quickly.Conceptual WorkCollaborate with the team to brainstorm new design ideas for campaigns.Contribute to the creative direction of campaigns, from initial concepts to final designs, when needed.Collaboration & Cross-Functional EngagementWork closely with the Lead Designer and the different teams in Marketing, to ensure designs meet business objectives and functional requirements.Manage working on multiple projects at once.Skills and Attitude
Creative and conceptual design skills.Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop).Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members remotely.Attention to detail - ensuring all designs are accurate, on-brand, and optimized for digital platforms.Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable with effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, while maintaining ownership and accountability for the quality of your work.Team player, who is open to feedback and cross-functional collaboration.Requirements
2-5 years of experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio.A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.Experience working with components in FigmaExperience designing digital ads (Google, Meta Ads) and understanding platform specifications and best practices.Experience in basic motion graphics is a plus (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).Experience with mass roll-out and execution of digital assets across various channels.Benefits
