We are recruiting a Marketing Coordinator for our client based in Midrand in the education industry who will be primarily responsible for executing a high volume of traditional and online media campaigns to generate interest and registrations in upcoming programmes, managing a wide range of functions including digital marketing, email marketing, graphic design, website updates, creation of marketing materials and brochures, social media, and content creation. The Marketing Coordinator will also be representing the Institution at schools and events, and supporting overall student recruitment and marketing activities, having the ability to multitask with supreme attention to detail while adhering to deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in the education or services sector
- Demonstrated experience in managing digital campaigns and social media accounts
- Graphic design and content creation skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) would be an advantage
- Valid driver’s license, essential for school visits and events
Key duties and responsibilities
Provide overall academic leadership, ensuring alignment with the institution’s mission, vision, and regulatory requirements (CHE, DHET, ECSA)Lead the development and review of academic policies, procedures, and strategiesEnsure programmes are industry-aligned, compliant with NQF / HEQSF standards, and support clear articulation and progression pathwaysOversee the quality assurance and programme review functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, while delegating day-to-day QA processes to the Quality Assurance OfficerSupport and manage academic staff through recruitment, professional development, fair workload distribution, and performance managementOversee student administration, academic advising, student support initiatives, performance monitoring, progression, and the management of appeals or misconduct casesProvide support to lecturers in teaching delivery, academic administration, and student engagementAct as the key liaison with regulatory bodies, professional associations, industry partners, and internal governance structuresSupport marketing and recruitment initiatives for academic programmesPrepare reports for management, committees, and regulatory bodiesLead re-accreditation and audit preparations in collaboration with relevant staffManage academic budgets and resources effectivelyContribute to general campus administration, operational management, and broader management functionsUndertake ad hoc duties as required to support the institution’s operations#J-18808-Ljbffr
