Junior Field Guide Luxury Safari Camp Eastern Cape

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a passionate and professional Junior Field Guide to join a luxury safari camp based in the Eastern Cape. This live-in position offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated guide to develop their career within a well-established and respected lodge environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct guided game drives and bush walks delivering an engaging and educational guest experience.

Host guests professionally assisting with check-ins check-outs and general lodge interactions.

Support daily operations including guest transfers staff transport and lodge errands as needed.

Participate in reserve-related tasks such as road maintenance fence patrols game capture and anti-poaching patrols.

Maintain safari vehicles and ensure accurate vehicle maintenance logbooks are kept up to date.

Assist with site inspections by tour operators and contribute to marketing initiatives such as photography or videography.

Contribute to the ongoing improvement of lodge operations and the overall guest experience.

Requirements :

FGASA qualification and valid First Aid certificate.

Valid PDP and DEDEAT registration (must be current before commencing employment).

A strong understanding of guest service within a luxury safari environment.

Positive attitude strong communication skills and a willingness to assist in all aspects of lodge life.

Package :

Salary : Negotiable dependent on experience and in line with industry standards.

Accommodation : Live-in.

Leave cycle : 3 weeks on 1 week off.
