About the role
You will establish close and integrated ties with operating business units by defining the strategy for implementing applications and integration to help the business improve efficiencies reduce costs and support business growth. The role supports the effective day to day running of all operations through capacity alignment team enablement and business engagement.
What youll be doing
- Manage project pipeline from the Maersk Contract Logistics business to ensure Technology Customer and Operations (TCO) colleagues are adequately staffed-up to align with required timelines
- Attend any business review meetings with potential new or existing customers and gather / understand / follow-up areas of concern and improvement
- Work with business and operational teams to understand their requirements to implement and deliver any appropriate IT solutions
- Develop the TCO team to upskill them
- Carry out full implementation from design solution development testing to go-live and training per business need
- Co-ordinate with global teams and extended Maersk colleagues to deliver any necessary development or customisation
- Perform configuration on supported applications needed to run operations including all peripheral applications
- Work with AOT PPO and other internal teams to ensure the smooth operation of IT services and infrastructure
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of all local IT systems and networks
- Ensure Technical KPIs are maintained across change and support
- Review existing implementations to find any improvement opportunities
- Establish and maintain change control incident and escalation procedures
- Act as communicator and escalation point during major incidents
- Conduct disaster recovery and system testing where needed
- Support any system migrations and upgrades
- Work collaboratively with Business Development teams as a Tech representative for new business opportunities
