We are seeking Specialist Facilitators to design and deliver practical, high-impact training that builds capability in frontline leaders and supports long-term cultural transformation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop Training That Makes a Difference :
Customize leadership and safety training to the realities of mining operations
Build engaging materials, exercises, and assessment toolsAlign training with on-the-ground tools, systems, and routinesDeliver Engaging, Practical Training :Facilitate sessions for supervisors, shift bosses, and middle managers
Deliver "Line as Coach" modules and safety leadership trainingLead alignment workshops and leadership summitsDrive Real-World Application :Connect classroom learning to workplace results
Support post-training coaching and reinforcementTrack effectiveness through workplace interactions and observationsGrow Capability Across the Operation :Assess leader capability levels and identify gaps
Develop structured coaching plans for different leader tiersSupport the development of internal trainers for sustainabilitySupport Programme Delivery :Manage logistics, schedules, and participant coordination
Maintain accurate training records and progress dataContinuously improve content based on feedback and outcomesJob Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile) :
6+ years in mining operations with supervisory or management experienceStrong facilitation background, especially with frontline leadersSolid understanding of adult learning principlesExperience with mining safety systems and safety leadershipAbility to design and adapt training materials for operational contextsExcellent communication and facilitation skillsHighly Advantageous :Experience in transformation programmes or similar methodologies
Background in African mining environmentsUnderground mining experienceTrain-the-Trainer or similar training CertificationsCoaching experience or coaching effectiveness assessmentQualifications :Diploma or Degree in Mining, Education, Organisational Development, or similar
