AEI Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a talented and experienced AEI Engineer to join our team in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in engineering and a thorough understanding of AEI processes.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop and implement AEI systems and solutions
• Conduct system integration and testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to AEI systems
• Provide training and support to internal teams and external clients
• Collaborate with other engineering and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of AEI systems
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in AEI technology
Requirements :
• Grade 12
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical / electronic engineering
• B-Tech in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (Advantage)
• Proficiency with Siemens S7 – Pro 1&2 (Must)
• Experience with Siemens PCS 7 (Must)
• Familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal
• Advanced knowledge of Siemens VSD / Soft Starter
• Experience with OSIsoft
• Fundamentals of Low Voltage switchgear
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering and Maintenance in FMCG environment
• Experience in soya and sunflower crush plant (Wish)
• Experience in silo’s / edible oil extraction plant (Wish)
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and SAP
• Knowledge of design codes and industry standards
