Chief Financial Officer

Operating in the corporate travel sector, this business requires a CFO who will take full ownership of the financial operations function within its shared services structure. Reporting directly to the Cluster CFO, you will play a key role in managing working capital, ensuring compliance, strengthening internal controls, and delivering accurate and timely financial insights to business leaders. This position demands a hands-on leader with excellent analytical, strategic, and people management skills to drive financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee all aspects of operational finance, ensuring accurate reporting, effective cash flow management, and optimized working capital.
• Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Manage external and internal audit processes, ensuring compliance and clean audit outcomes.
• Provide business analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, including benchmarking, forecasting, and budget management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Job Experience & Skills Required :

Honours Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field (CA(SA) preferred).

Minimum 10 years financial experience, with at least 5 years at senior management level in financial operations.

Proven experience in the trade and services sector, preferably in high-volume environments.

Strong people management and leadership track record.

Expertise in financial reporting, risk management, tax, business analysis, and accounting systems.
