As the Treasury Assistant you will responsible for the following :

Treasury Management :

Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure timely processing of transactions

Maintain accurate banking records and manage user access

Ensure month-end bank closings are completed accurately and on time

Support cash flow forecasting and foreign exchange reporting

Liaise with banking partners and assist with SARB applications

Prepare monthly treasury reconciliations and audit-ready reports

External Audit Support :

Act as the main point of contact for external auditors

Gather required documentation and resolve audit queries efficiently

Tax & Statutory Compliance :

Assist in tax calculations and statutory filings

Support the Tax Specialist with company secretarial duties and tax compliance

Help identify and resolve tax-related issues to mitigate financial risk

Month-End Close :

Prepare journal entries for review

Ensure accurate recording and timely clearing of SG&A expenses

Corporate Card Administration :

Manage the corporate card platform, including user support and limit management

Investigate and reconcile accounts to ensure timely and accurate submissions

Reporting :

Contribute to the preparation of monthly and ad-hoc reports for the CFO, Finance Manager, Head Office, Regional HQ, and auditors

Job Experience and Skills Required :

BCom in Accounting or Financial Management

Minimum 3 Years’ Experience In Account Reconciliation

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite

Strong analytical thinking and sound financial acumen
