Key performance areas

• Assist with strategic planning and execution
• Ensure that the services of providers are secured utilizing the company’s supply chain policy
• Management of accounts payable (i.e. processing invoices, payments and reconciliation of accounts etc.) to ensure a compliant SCM
• Management of accounts receivable (i.e. distribution of statements, following up on outstanding invoices, processing remittances, reconciliations etc.)
• Management of all Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly bases
• Oversee cash flow management function and processing (i.e. bank, petty cash and cash flow forecasts)
• Review and Processing of requisitions and payments
• Preparation of information for and execution of monthly payroll cycle and reconciliations
• Prepare, monthly, quarterly, half year and year‑end financial records.
• Prepare monthly pricing and distributing to clients
• Manage all tax related matters i.e. Vat, PAYE, Income Tax, etc.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Treasury, SARS reporting / compliance) and reporting to regulators
• Monthly variance analysis, investigation and reporting.
• Preparation of management reports, financial statements and other financial related reports and correspondence
• Manage and maintain the Fixed Asset Register
• Assist in the formulation of annual budgets and ad hoc financial forecasts
• Resolution of finance related queries
• Prepare for internal and external audits.
• Accomplish company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Ensure good on‑going relationships with stakeholders
• Work closely with the Finance and Administration Manager to ensure smooth operations of all finance related matters
• Provide general support and assistance to the Finance and Administration Manager on any other financial administration and related deliverables as requested
