Role Overview
The FTP team is implementing the FTP month-end process in Moody’s and requires a senior consultant to assist with system implementation, testing, and reconciliation against the existing Sendero system.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the FTP month-end process within Moody’s.
- Import and validate account-level asset and liability data for the ZAR banking book.
- Ensure every account is correctly assigned FTP components based on predefined rules and data attributes.
- Tag accounts with business unit and product line indicators and verify aggregation and reporting accuracy to SAP BPC (ledger).
- Perform deal-level comparison between Moody’s and Sendero FTP results.
- Investigate and document differences by referencing FTP rules, methodologies, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with the FTP and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
Skills & Experience Required
Advanced Python skills (preferred) for large dataset analysis and comparison.If not Python, strong SQL skills will be considered.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Solid understanding of FTP (Funds Transfer Pricing) principles and methodologies.Experience working with financial systems (Moody’s, SAP BPC, Sendero advantageous).Attention to detail and ability to document technical and business findings clearly.Nice to Have / Additional Skills
