Drivers Rental

ob Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Driver to join our team in the rental industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery, collection, and relocation of rental vehicles / equipment, while ensuring excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely drive, deliver, and collect rental vehicles / equipment as per schedule.

Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles / equipment are in good working condition.

Check fuel, fluid levels, tyres, and report any damage or mechanical issues immediately.

Ensure all delivery and collection documentation is accurately completed and signed.

Assist customers with vehicle handovers, explaining basic operation and care.

Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and refuel as required.

Adhere to all road traffic laws and company safety protocols.

Provide professional, friendly service to customers at all times.

Report delays, accidents, or any incidents promptly to management.

Assist with moving vehicles / equipment between branches or storage facilities when required.

Requirements : Matric / Grade 12.

Valid drivers licence (Code 8 / Code 10 depending on role).

PDP (Professional Driving Permit) may be required for certain positions.

Minimum of 2 years driving experience in a professional capacity.

Knowledge of local routes and road safety regulations.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Physically fit to assist with loading / unloading when necessary.
