Broadcast Technician

Job descriptionMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Broadcast Technician Strong technical knowledge of audio and video equipment and systems Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues and providing on-site support Experience working in a live broadcast environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel for extended periods of time Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a maritime setting is a plus
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and maintain all audio and video equipment for live broadcasts, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and control systems onboard the cruise ship
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site support during broadcasts
- Collaborate with production team to ensure smooth operation and execution of live broadcasts
- Monitor and adjust audio and video levels to maintain quality and consistency during live broadcasts
- Maintain and organize broadcast equipment inventory
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in broadcast technology
- Assist in the development and implementation of new broadcast systems and processes
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at sea
