Financial Accountant

You will be responsible for the full accounting function over multiple jurisdictions :

Review weekly payment files against invoices and approvals

Approve payments loaded onto the banking profile weekly

Review and validate monthly Livewire reports

Process monthly and ad hoc sales invoices

Ensure annual sales escalations are accurate and applied on time

Review debtors ageing and follow up on outstanding balances

Process monthly journals including provisions VAT journals and loan accounts

Process monthly intercompany transactions on NetSuite

Update and maintain monthly Excel company loan schedules

Perform monthly Operations & Maintenance (O&M) reconciliations

Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns (South Africa and international entities)

Add and maintain company details on SARS e-filing (e.g. VAT registrations income tax).

Prepare annual audit files and respond to auditor queries

Ensure compliance with group policies accounting standards and statutory requirements

Assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc financial tasks and projects

Skills & Experience :

Detail orientated

Team player

Enjoying a more unstructured environment

Qualification :

SAIPA / SAICA articles - Advantageous

Degree minimum 5 years experience
